Where We Came From
Après Shades was born with a simple idea. We love skiing and snowboarding and especially kicking back after a long day on the slopes. Too often we didn’t like to bring our sunglasses and had several excuses – they were too bulky to fit in our pockets – what if we fall and break our expensive pair? A foldable pair of lightweight and durable sunglasses to cram into a pocket was our answer – and Après Shades was born.
We also wanted to design an environmentally friendly product that would help keep the Après ski tradition going, so we designed our frames out of sustainable materials including Rosewood and Oak. We’re also partnering with Protect Our Winters and donating a portion of profit for every pair of sunglasses sold.
They’ll look good on you, you’ll feed good wearing them and most importantly you’ll avoid getting that unfortunate Goggle-tan!
